Our SILK soap is French Triple Milled which gives a high quality creamy smooth soap.
When a soap is being produced it is dried prior to being made into bars and crystals form that give a gritty feeling.
To crush the crystals and make a creamy finish the soaps are passed through a heavy duty roller mill 3 or 4 times – this is called French Triple Milling.
Most soaps are only done once with a lightweight roller so you are not getting the high quality that the French Triple milling gives you.
