HOW IT WORKS

Many people are familiar with the circulatory benefits of olive oil. Similarly, olive leaf extract supports multiple aspects of circulatory health, including blood pressure balance, arterial function, heart rhythm, and protection against free radicals. Oleuropein, a key active compound in olive leaf, is a polyphenol believed to help prevent the oxidation of LDL, commonly known as “bad” cholesterol.

THE STORY BEHIND OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT CONCENTRATE

Olives have been valued across cultures for thousands of years. Historical evidence suggests that olive oil production existed near the shores of Israel prior to 4,000 BC, with olive gardens flourishing in Crete shortly thereafter. Spanish conquistadors later introduced olive plants to Peru, which eventually spread to Mexico and then California through Franciscan friars.

While olive oil is widely known, the leaf itself also has a rich history of traditional use. Ancient Egyptians reportedly used olive leaves in the mummification process. In Italy, olive leaf tinctures have traditionally been used to help reduce fevers. In Japan, they have been used for internal complaints, while Tunisian folk medicine recommends olive leaves for various mouth, ear, and other concerns. These traditions highlight the long-standing value of olive leaf across cultures.
