Natures Sunshine Stomach Comfort

$37

A unique blend of slippery elm, ginger, papaya, licorice, calcium, and sodium alginate designed to support digestive comfort naturally.

  • Relieves occasional digestive discomfort

  • Helps neutralize stomach acid

HOW IT WORKS

This formula combines natural ingredients to provide nutritional support for digestion during times of occasional stomach upset. Calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, helps buffer excess stomach acid. Sodium alginate supports the mucus lining of the esophagus, while slippery elm bark coats and soothes the digestive tract. Ginger root, papaya fruit, and licorice root work synergistically to aid proper digestion. Licorice has a long history of supporting healthy stomach function.

WHY STOMACH COMFORT?

Rather than just counteracting excess acid, Stomach Comfort soothes the stomach. Along with calcium for acid neutralization, the formula features soothing algin and slippery elm, as well as papaya and ginger to aid digestion. Algin is a carbohydrate extracted from brown seaweed. Our organic, vegan algin is Kosher and Halal certified and rigorously tested for heavy metals, including arsenic and lead. For a stomach-friendly solution that’s been trusted for over 20 years, this formula is a standout.

THE STORY BEHIND STOMACH COMFORT

In 1928, American pharmacist Jim Howe created edible calcium drops to help his wife with indigestion. Calcium neutralizes excess stomach acid, which often causes discomfort. Nature’s Sunshine introduced Stomach Comfort in 1998 as a natural alternative, and it has been soothing stomachs ever since.

Papaya fruit, native to Mexico, contains natural enzymes that help break down meats and proteins. Slippery elm bark was traditionally used by Native Americans for various benefits. Ginger has been valued in Asia for thousands of years for culinary and medicinal purposes, supporting digestion, circulation, oral health, and relief from cold, fever, joint discomfort, nausea, gas, cramps, and more.

RECOMMENDED USE

Chew 1–2 tablets up to three times daily for quick, temporary stomach relief. Digestive problems may sometimes indicate more serious health issues.
