HOW IT WORKS

Tienchi ginseng: traditionally used to relieve pain and inflammation in TCM

Tienchi ginseng is also known as san-qi or sanchi, or by its botanical name Panax notoginseng. It’s a popular herb in TCM, where it’s been used for thousands of years, primarily to promote healthy circulation, or the flow of blood.

In TCM, stagnant or sluggish movement of the blood is traditionally believed to lead to issues such as pain and inflammation, and tienchi ginseng is traditionally taken to encourage stagnant blood to flow freely, relieving these symptoms.

Tienchi ginseng: traditionally taken to ease muscle sprain and strain symptoms in TCM

Tienchi ginseng is also traditionally used in TCM to relieve symptoms of muscle and soft tissue injuries, like the pain and inflammation of muscle sprains and strains, and pain and swelling related to bruising.

Tienchi ginseng: traditionally used to relieve heavy periods in TCM

Heavy menstrual bleeding is common in menstruating women, occurring in between 27.2% to 54% of women.1 Tienchi ginseng is also traditionally taken to decrease heavy menstrual periods (also known as menorrhagia) in TCM.

Tienchi ginseng: traditionally improves mild skin wound healing in TCM

In Chinese medicine, tienchi ginseng is also traditionally used to relieve bleeding from mild nose bleeds, as well as to improve the healing of mild skin wounds (including cuts, scratches and abrasions).

With camphor tree

Fusion Tienchi Ginseng also contains camphor tree, a tree related to cinnamon that’s indigenous to China, Taiwan and Japan. It’s often taken alongside tienchi ginseng in TCM.
