Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea

Echinacea is the most commonly known immune stimulant and modulator. If given in-high dose for common cold and influenza-like syndromes, trials have shown it will lead to containment of that infection with shortened recovery period.
In a randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled trial, 180 patients with upper respiratory tract infections received the equivalent of 1800mg per day or 900mg per day of E.purpurea root as a tincture or placebo. Patients receiving the high dose experienced significant relief of symptoms. Patients receiving the lower dose were not significantly different from the control.

Olea europa

Olea, more commonly known as olive leaf has demonstrated broad antimicrobial activity which supports the traditional use of olive leaf for respiratory symptoms of coughs, colds, flu and sore throat. The active antimicrobial part of the herb readily enters the infected cell where it appears to interfere with the virus production and inhibits the replication of the virus³.

Vitamin C and Zinc

These two nutrients are the two most effective nutritional building blocks to fortify immunity.
